I couldn't decide which of these I liked better. So, I give you both. How lucky are you? [So very.]
I had hoped she would love these in exactly this way... in the same way that The Boy loved the Velveteen Rabbit.
To pieces.
These are in the beginning stages of feeling that kind of love. They are just as they should be.

4 people love me:
I came over from Rachel's and read a bit and had a good laugh, just like she promised. Nice to meet you!
I love this post. :)
Several years ago, a friend of mine mailed me a very similar pair of shoes - sparkly red ruby slippers, little-girl size. They just DELIGHTED her, and she wanted me to share in that delight. Neither of us have a daughter to put them on, but I keep them because they remind me to dream... and hopefully, someday I'll have a little girl to teach how to dream, too.
Absolutely adore those shoes!! Those are something that should be displayed in a shadowbox for remembrance when your sweet pea has outgrown them ... just to cherish. I happened upon your spot for its lovely name - so very whimsical ... I was immediately drawn in!
Love the pics and I'll be back for another visit! Thanks for sharing.
