Show Yourself! (I already heart you)

I missed it again! Last year I missed it and I swore that the next time it came around, I would not be caught half-steppin' and yet here I am. 10 days late for my favorite online holiday. [I didn't always have a favorite online holiday but when I found out about Delurking Day, then suddenly, my favorite emerged, with no effort at all.]

Thankfully, the cute little graphic doesn't contain a date - only a year - so if I hadn't ousted myself, you might not know how very late I am in celebrating! And I don't use the word celebrating lightly. I celebrate your presence here. You're very important to me. Truly, you are.

So, if you've been coming here for a while [or even if you're brand-spankin' new], today you have to tell me in the comment section that you've been stalking me. ;) And you really do have to(PLEASE!), because it's a holiday! And besides, it would just make my day. I'd love you like I love Wild Cherry Pepsi.

If you don't know what you might say, maybe you could answer a question.

Here, I'll provide you with some options:
(1) If you could dispense any condiment from your navel, what would it be? It's really a toss up for me--chocolate or buffalo sauce. I love them both immensely.
(2) What book, other than the Bible, has influenced you greatly? Two books top my list. Inside Out by Larry Crabb and The Shack by William Young (which tragically, I almost didn't finish)
(3) When was the last time you did something for the first time? What was it? I love this question, but I really had to think back... seems I haven't stretched myself in a while. ...well, I booked a trip to NYC in June. [Okay, I know that's puny. Really, really puny. But nothing else comes to mind! Ask me again in July and I can say - I WENT TO NEW YORK! BOO-YA!]

Okay, your turn! Go! Expose yourself! I see you anyway. See that little sitemeter icon way down at the bottom of this page? I'm watching you... ;)

I never thought of my navel as a condiment dispenser! But in the event that I were able to perform such a feat.. I'd like to have at my disposal at all times....nacho cheese sauce. You never know when you might need some. And if I could have 2or more spickets I would include mustard and bleu cheese dressing in my repetoire. While we're at it, can I have sweet tea on tap? (Love you & ya blog guh!..birdie)

Yeah, I'm watching you, too, guh! These are such tough questions. Do I have to pick a condiment? Because what I'd really like is gumbo to dispense from my navel. Or Blue Bell's the Great Divide ice cream. My book would be Captivating by John & Stacy Eldridge. And in May I said goodbye to my 20's.

You know I love you!

I missed delurking day too...I had big plans for forcing my readers to show themselves and then I completely forgot.

By the way, your The Honest Truth post made me smile...but only because I have a little one just like him who tells me how it is, too :)

I've been stalking you for a while now. I'm a mom of 4...girl, boy, girl, boy. I think I caught your sweet pickle's name on one of your videos. I have one of those too.

I don't have one of my own, but I love to read your blog because I smile every time I do. The name of your blog is what initially drew me and I haven't been able to break the habit since. :) Thank you for your spiritual challenges as well!

My condiment would be Worcestershire sauce, my favorite book would be anything by Francine Rivers and the last time I did something for the first time....My family drove from Georgia to California and back camping in state parks along the way last April/May. Our oldest was 5 and our youngest was 7 months. We got to see so much of Gods beautiful creation and the we loved it!

ok, i've got you beat...(it has nothing to do with this holiday, 'cuz you know i'm here...)

anyway, yesterday, my youngest found a pair of my unmentionables, lifted them high and began laughing. i asked her what was so funny...and she declared, "wow, these must be for a giant!" unsolicited honesty...that's what i get :) heehee!

OK weird question. That is all.
(2) What book, other than the Bible, has influenced you greatly? The Shack
(3) When was the last time you did something for the first time? What was it?

Dang! I missed it too. Oh well...One person actually delurked a few weeks ago....and now what? Does that mean I'm automatically supposed to start reading their blog too? I already have 38 blogs on my Reader, I don't have time to add anymore.

And I refuse to believe bellybuttons are anything other than very annoying body parts that small children like to poke. Ugh.

I've never heard of Delurking Day. Sounds like a rather cool internet holiday. Now I have to Google it! You already know I read your blog regularly soooo... I guess I don't need to "de-lurk" myself. ;)

Bonjour, cherie! I've been to your blog before but just realized that you are from my home, sweet, home. We're now 4 hours away in the big city, but I sure do miss home. (Makes me miss it more when I come home to visit.) My hubby and I were married 17 years ago on the UL campus. (Back when it was USL)
