Overheard at supper tonight:
Sugarhead: "Are your chicken nuggets black?"
Sweet Pickle: "Yeah."
Sugarhead: "Mine, too."
I bet they wish their mama was a cafeteria lady. Then all their processed foods would be baked to perfection - a nice golden brown, and never. ever. you know, black.
The cooking? I do not love it.

7 people love me:
You think the cafeteria lady made good food?
Gulp.
Maybe you do need help.
You're too funny!
Email me tomorrow at work. I agree with you - I'm too scared to try that. I did think I would have to go onto Blogger and get a new URL and just link from my old one. However, then all my stuff wouldn't transfer over. This is like the blind leading the blind. Do we know anyone who knows anything about this stuff?
Email me guh!
this is great...
there are days when i feel like i've totally lost my kitchen cooking & baking touch...and it always seems to happen when we have company or making food to go to someone's house for a get together...it NEVER fails.
fyi...never try to do brisket for easter when you've never done brisket before...EVER!

Oh my goodness, you crack me up. I just love how their conversation is about comparing their food.
It would help if you had a WORKING oven, now wouldn't it?!! (hehe)
Tell them to scrape the black off - lol! That's what I do! hehehehe
My kids considered school lunch a treat, like eating out. Because anything eaten out was better than eaten in. The cooking--I also do not love it.
