I baked a cake today so that I could try my hand at a second attempt at the Cake Balls that so utterly flopped previously. I would link back to them, but they were just so ugly.
The edges of my cakes came out a little too hard.
So I ate them.
All of them.

6 people love me:
You did the cake a favor...eating it's crusty edges.
It needed to be done...
New to your blog...but I see we run in the same circles. I came from All roads lead to Home, Jen is the first bloggy friend I met when I started this crazy ride. I ended up reading all your posts that are on the page. I have to say I LOVE that scarf...I am not gifted with knitting. I can do paper crafts. Lets get to the cake balls. Your flops looked pretty good to me, then I'd try just about anything dunked in chocolate, except bugs. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that's eats the evidence. :) Nice to meet you.
Oh Jodie. I love you even more now that you admitted that. :) Were they chocolate?
You're making me want some cake. Crusty edges and all.
and since I'm probably not going to be able to be part of the "company" this weekend, there's no pressure to make more said cake balls...
you just bought yourself some time, see? Thanksgiving is 2 weeks away :)
Good job, Jodie! You're just getting ready for the upcoming festive season, right?
